Alice graduated with a law degree from the Northern University of Malaysia and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor. She started her practice as a civil litigator, focusing on the area of corporate, commercial, and contract law, and thereafter was given opportunities to venture into more varieties of law practice.
Alice was involved in numerous contentious disputes ranging from corporate fraudulent trading, fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of contract to debt recovery. Some of these cases were reported in the local legal journals as follows:

Winnis earned a first-class Bachelor of Laws degree from the Northern University of Malaysia and was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal. She has attained a Master of Laws degree at the University of Malaya with distinction. Before beginning her legal career, she had the privilege of serving as a judicial clerk at the federal court, where she gained valuable experience in the legal field. She has represented both local and foreign clients in various real estate conveyancing matters. Starting with opportunities to represent Malaysian companies in dealings involving the sale of bird nests to Chinese companies, she now focuses on assisting local and international businesses in negotiating, managing, and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts.
